Job Purpose

Managing the flow of materials and supplies within an organization, ensuring accurate inventory records, proper storage practices, and timely support to production and maintenance or operational teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and ensure materials are adequately stocked. Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits. Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) and minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Receiving & Inspection: Receive incoming materials and verify against delivery notes or purchase orders. Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues. Label and store items in designated locations.
  • Issuing & Dispatch: Prepare and issue materials based on requisitions or warehouse orders. Pack and label items for dispatch or internal transfer. Maintain records of issued and return items.
  • Storage & Organization: Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Monitor shelf life and condition of stored items. Perform and other relative tasks might be requested by supervisor or line manager.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of all spare parts and raw & packing material transactions. Reports to the Procurement Department to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues.
  • Production Support: Align material availability with production schedules to avoid disruptions.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain necessary reports, records, and documentation related to material management.

Education

School certificate.

Experience

•   Minimum three years of experience as a material preparer coordinator or storekeeper roles.

Language

  • Good verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
