Job Purpose

• Lead and supervise pool of technicians related to electrical maintenance activities. In charge of complete maintenance of all plant equipment & utilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Plans daily activities with respect to scheduled corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Ensuring breakdown maintenance is tackled based on priority with minimum downtime.
• Ensure daily inspection based on checklist is followed for all electrical utilities such as LV, MV and electrical sub stations.
• Attends inspection & testing regularly for power generators. Always ensure availability in case of power failure.
• Aware of electrical codes and safety and ensures that the safety mechanism for all equipment is intact and active.
• Distributes workforce based on necessity & requirement.
• Ensure technical support and physical presence is provided to inspect the performance & quality of the job in every task being attended.
• Plans spare parts requirement and ensure that correct power & hand tools are used.
• Maintains documentation & records. Ensure all maintenance orders are completed, filled with all data require (task list & man hours) and technically closed.
• Maintains shop housekeeping, employee discipline & ensure safety at work.
• Energy management surveillance and improvement.

Education

Experience

• At least three (3) years’ experience in ceramic or tile manufacturing in the same position applied is an advantage. At least five (5) years’ experience as an Engineer or in any related manufacturing industry.

Language

• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Skills

• Well adapted in electrical wiring diagrams, circuit analysis & design.
• Skilled in the application of electrical code & safety standards.
• Ability to work well under pressure without compromising electrical safety.
• Able to communicate in basic English Language
• Able to work lengthy hours if needed and work all shifts flexibly when job demands.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications is preferred to be WINDOWS and MS OFFICE.
